The heart behind Little Legends
Nyla Glover has spent a lifetime in dance, and her favorite dancers have always been the littlest ones.

Nyla began dancing at age three in the New York and New Jersey area and never stopped. She trained with renowned artists including Donald McKayle, Nikki Harris, Chet Walker and Robert La Fosse at Jacob's Pillow in Massachusetts, then attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C., under the guidance of Lynn Welters and Sandra Fortune Greene. She went on to the Alvin Ailey certificate program and performed at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra.
Her training spans ballet, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, African, hip hop, character and theater, along with gymnastics and tumbling, and her career has taken her to the stage, commercials, modeling and print. She has taught from the East Coast to the West Coast and everywhere in between, working with every age from Mommy and Me infants to adults and seniors.
“Little ones move with such a free spirit. They have no fear of trying something new, and it is beautiful to watch them grow.”
That is why her heart has always belonged to preschoolers. Watching a three year old discover what their body can do, find their rhythm and stand a little taller with every class is the joy that inspired Little Legends: a place where your child's first steps in dance are playful, confident and truly their own.
